It’s been two years since a massive attack on Western Union and Mastercard crippled their systems, forcing them to close their services.
It was the first time that the companies had faced such a hack.
Now, the attackers are making plans for similar attacks on other online services.
On Monday, the hackers will release a list of countries where they are targeting banking and payment systems.
The list is expected to include the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Canada and Belgium.
In some cases, the list is likely to include those countries’ financial institutions, too.
The list comes as the U.K. and the Netherlands are also considering imposing new sanctions on the two countries’ citizens who allegedly helped the attackers.
