Canada is taking another step towards opening up online banking to the masses.
In October, the Canadian government launched the Canadian Bitcoin Alliance (CBA), an initiative that aims to encourage cryptocurrency adoption in the country.
In an effort to help Bitcoin grow, CBA will be hosting an open call for public feedback on the CBA’s goals.
The call will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, at 3:30 p.m.
ET and will be live streamed on CBA.ca.
Participants will be able to share their thoughts on the new cryptocurrency, what it means to them personally, and how it might affect the economy in the future.
The CBA also hopes to hear from members of the Bitcoin community and the broader cryptocurrency community.
Bitcoin has been gaining in popularity, with Bitcoin Cash recently surpassing the $10,000 mark.
The Bitcoin Core developers announced that the network will be moving towards a new consensus algorithm to support it.
